The Professional Graduate Program in Management and Controllership (PPAC Profissional), through its Professional Master’s PROGRAM, has the mission of training professionals at master’s level, promoting applied knowledge, ethics and social commitment. Aligned with values such as applied knowledge, commitment to society, ethics in market partnerships and passion for what we do, the program seeks excellence in teaching, research and proposing solutions to organizational problems.
The general objective of the course is to develop professional skills for strategic and tactical action in organizations, focusing on the formulation and implementation of studies, products, services, processes and innovative solutions in management. It is aimed at professionals already in the labor market and who occupy management positions (or positions of high technicality/complexity in organizations of any type). The Program is also targeted at entrepreneurs, organizational consultants and independent professionals in related areas. Specific objectives include:
- To provide broad and in-depth theoretical/practical training, enabling graduates to act effectively and efficiently in specific organizational and professional contexts;
- To train competent, multifunctional professionals and agents of innovation and change to act in contexts of cultural diversity and organizational change;
- To contribute to the development of management and controllership in public and private organizations, with a special focus on those that operate at the local (Fortaleza), state (Ceará) or regional (Northeast and North) levels, through teaching excellence and technological and applied research;
- To become a center of reference studies in Management and Controllership, through the development of knowledge and technologies that improve the existing forms and models of management; and,
- To develop students’ skills for conducting applied research, in response to the increasing demands of the labor market.
