Study Program of the Professional Master’s Degree
Courses are offered in quarterly blocks, with classes held in the evening. Each course consists of twelve sessions, totaling 48 hours.
Each student must complete a minimum of 24 credits in courses, plus 6 (six) credits related to the dissertation.
To complete the program, each student must earn a minimum of 30 credits, distributed as follows:
- 24 credits from coursework, and
- 6 credits from the thesis.
Key Deadlines and Stages for Degree Completion
- Project Defense: by the 15th month of the program
- Qualifying Exam: by the 21st month
- Thesis Defense: by the 24th month
The curriculum is structured around 3-credit courses. Students must complete at least 30 credits, distributed as follows:
- 9 credits in mandatory core courses
(The courses Controllership and Theory of Organizations count toward the mandatory credits for their respective lines of research – Accounting, Controllership and Finance (CCF) and Organizational Studies and People Management (EOGP). However, each line also requires one additional course to meet the credit requirement.) - 9 credits in specific courses, aligned with the chosen line of research
- 6 credits in elective (free-choice) courses
- 6 credits corresponding to the thesis
- In the fourth quarter, all students must also take the Thesis Seminar course.
